How Do You Set Up Weather & Light Monitoring on Your UNIT 1 App?

All UNIT 1 helmets (FARO and AURA) feature weather and light monitoring, adjusting lighting in real time to match environmental conditions through the app.

Activating Weather Monitoring

• To toggle weather monitoring on or off, use the left-hand button in the cockpit.

Adjusting Monitoring Settings

1. Access Monitoring Settings

   • Go to Profile > Preferences > Monitoring in the app to customize weather and light monitoring.

2. Configure Weather Mode

   • Weather Mode: Automatically adjusts helmet lights to high power and strobe mode during rain or heavy fog for increased visibility.

3. Customize Daytime Mode

   • Daytime Mode: Controls helmet lights in bright conditions. Options include:
     • No Lights: Disables helmet lights but keeps crash alerts active.
     • Flashing Lights: Activates flashing lights for maximum visibility during the day.

Activating the Selected Settings

• Once preferences are set, pressing the weather monitoring button will activate all chosen settings.
