Crash Alert lets your loved ones know if you’ve been in a crash. Once it’s active, the app will send an automatic SMS to your emergency contact if you don’t respond within your selected countdown time.
To set it up, choose an emergency contact and a Safety Countdown — the amount of time the app waits before sending the message. You can choose between 15 seconds, 1 minute, or 4 minutes. We recommend 1 minute, as it gives you enough time to respond while still ensuring quick help if needed.
When you select a contact, your phone will ask for permission to access your contact list. You must allow this to add your emergency contact.
Your contact will receive a message that says:
“It looks like [Your Name] just fell off the bike and didn’t respond to our safety-check. Check the location here.”
You can also enable Automatic Start so Crash Alert turns on automatically whenever the app detects your helmet. To do this, open Crash Alert in the app and switch the toggle on.
