What is the NEON Smart Helmet?
NEON is an urban smart helmet built for daily commuting and e-bike riding. It combines certified impact protection with connected safety features and a modular design that allows parts to be replaced over time.

Rear LED light with 180° visibility to keep you visible from behind
NTA-8776 certification, suitable for higher-speed e-bike rides (up to 25 km/h)
Crash Alert: when connected to the UNIT 1 app, a hard impact triggers a safety countdown and SOS message
Modular construction, allowing certain components to be replaced
MIPS® protection system and magnetic buckle
IP-67 water resistance for reliable use in wet conditions
7 fixed ventilation vents
Weight between 430–490 g, depending on size
Battery life of 3–30 hours, depending on light settings

What comes with the NEON helmet?

What’s not included:
UNIT 1 Remote, Visor, rain plugs, and other accessories. These accessories are sold separately and can be added later to customize your setup.
First steps after unboxing
1. Unpack and inspect
Make sure all items are present and undamaged before first use.
2. Charge the helmet
Use the included USB-C charging cable
Charge until the helmet is fully charged
💡 Tip: You can monitor battery level later through the UNIT 1 app.
3. Adjust the fit
Place the helmet level on your head
Use the rear dial to tighten or loosen
Adjust the straps for a secure fit
Fasten the magnetic buckle
A proper fit is essential for both safety and comfort.
4. Pair NEON with the UNIT 1 app
Pairing unlocks smart features like crash alerts and battery status.

Download the UNIT 1 app (iOS or Android)
Enable Bluetooth on your phone
Follow the screen instructions.
Power on the helmet (press and hold the power button for 1 second)
Follow the in-app pairing steps
5. Set up Crash Alert
In the UNIT 1 app:
Select your NEON helmet
Add an emergency contact
Toggle Crash Alert on
If a hard impact is detected, NEON will start a safety countdown before sending an SOS message.
Important: Please grant full access or access to the contact you want to select.
Did you know?

Customize your ride
Through the UNIT 1 app, you can:
Customize light behavior, Monitor battery status & Manage connected safety features
Optional accessories such as visors and rain plugs allow you to adapt NEON to different weather and riding conditions.
Cleaning & care
To keep your NEON helmet in top condition:
Clean with mild soap and water, Use a soft cloth only, Air dry completely, Use only UNIT 1 accessories
Avoid:
Solvents or harsh chemicals, Pressure washing, Modifying helmet components
Good to know / What to expect
4 taps on the power button perform a soft reset
8 taps perform a factory reset
Battery life varies from 3 to 30 hours, depending on settings
Store the helmet with the battery between 50–80%
Recharge at least every two months if not in use
Always replace the helmet after a significant impact
