Do Rain Sensor and Daylight Sensor affect battery life and durability?

Yes, but differently.

Rain Sensor

Because it increases brightness and adds a strobing effect, it consumes more battery than Daylight Sensor when active.

Daylight Sensor

Daylight Sensor is designed to optimize battery life while keeping features such as  Crash Alert working, especially in bright conditions where full lighting isn’t necessary. It consumes less battery than Rain Sensor.
