If your helmet is currently using software for one of our Open Integrations and you’d prefer to return to the standard UNIT 1 experience, you can switch it back directly from the UNIT 1 app.
This can be useful if, for example, you want to customize settings such as your Turn Signals again instead of using the fixed settings required by the integration.

Specter
Tarran
Brompton
How to restore standard UNIT 1 software
Open the UNIT 1 app.
Go to Settings.
Select the helmet currently using the integration.
Tap Software Updates.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen.
Select Restore to Factory Software. (Helmet should be ON)
The change takes effect immediately, you do not need to install a separate firmware update.
Once restored, your helmet will return to the standard UNIT 1 setup and you’ll be able to use the usual UNIT 1 app and Remote settings, including customizing your Turn Signals.
Important
Restoring the standard UNIT 1 software will remove the active integration with your bike.
If you want to use the bike integration again later, you’ll need to set it up again through the relevant integration process.
